Two lovely kilts there.
I'd imagine that United States Air Force tartan will be popular with those who served and with their sons/daughters.
Alex, you said a mouthful. I am absolutely enthralled with the USAF kilt. I really want one to pay homage to my father's service in the USAF. He went career, and retired as a master sergeant. I'm going to have to swipe pics of the kilt and the sporran from the thread that shows the close up and send them to him.
Barb, when I can finally afford to get you to make me a kilt, I know what I'm going to want you to make me! Between seeing Steve's Highland Granite when he was down here and the pics of all the other kilts I've seen from you, you are definitely the kiltmaker I most want a kilt from at this point!
Thanks for the pics. The kilts are stunning (as usual).
I have also (DrewO) wondered what the NH Tartan would look like made up into a kilt. NH is instituting legally recognized civil unions after January 1st and we have been considering the NH tartan for our ceremony (we will have been together 17 years by then). It will be his first kilt. Now I know it will be beautiful.
Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread. Beautiful work.
Barb, those are some of the nicest kilts I have ever seen. If I ever need a really great / custom kilt I will know whom to come to. They are something to be proud of.
Beautiful kilts and nice models as well . You've done such a great job, it looks like the New Hampshire tartan has just moved up to the top of my wish list.
