...The Thrifty Kilt has no hem- it's selvedged as usual, Apron is fringed. The 3inch deep knife pleats are stitched at top & bottom of the waist-band/Fell, and basted for shipping, at the Fell, Hips, & "hem", with instructions to try it on BEFORE snipping them to make sure it fits. The velcro inner and outer closures make it very quick to put on - no buckles , straps, twisting etc. to mess with. Ideal if in a hurry.
Although there are no belt loops, I wear a Sporran and a wide belt with big buckle (K-Mart). and it all stays together and looks fine. I have no one to take pics 'till next week, so whoever gets pics first should post them.
Stillwater usually takes three days and it's on your doorstep.
