Newbie questions

ok... question time... i've read a lot here and online, but there are some terms i cannot find a concise definition/examples/pictures of... and excuse my lack of capital letters, my son ripped the shift key off my keyboard. :-)

pleated to stripe, knife pleating, box pleating... what are those, whats the difference, and can someone point me to a site with pictures?

um... crud... i finally get around to posting and i forget my other questions. well, that'll do for now :-)

Ok, stripe and sett I get... stripe hides most of the vertical lines in the pleats, sett reproduces the pattern.

Looks like box pleated is where each pleat lies in both directions... And knife pleated is all in one direction? Do I got that right?

I like that about the keys. My daughter had the same problem, only it was her pey Cockatoo that picked all of the keys off of her key board. She never did find all of them, so some didn't go back in the right places. That keyboard was a nightmare for someone like me who has to look at the keys to type, but since she works in data entry and is a touch typest, she had few problems
