I am a big fan of "knock around" kilts. Even with the tweed, and the Leatherneck (worsted wool) I find myself switching when I get home into something more . . . beaterish. And "beaterish" doesn't have to mean bad, at all!
With the availability of custom tailored versions, I may have to give some serious thought to FC!

Goals
Thanks for the review of our kilts. Our goal before the end of 2007 is to stock about 25 tartans in both 13 and 16 oz weights from size 30-46.
The Buchanans were orginally done last year for a wedding and since then we have sold well over 40 of them and we just did a custom order for a wedding. originally they were pleated to teh strip but the last batch we had them made to the sett
we hope to have around 1600 kilts in inventory. Presently we are selling them so fast it is hard to keep stock.
we are shooting for 3-5 of each size in each waist size
we will be adding scottish teddy bears (bears in kilts)
