I can vouch for this group! A great bunch of guys, dedicated to an accurate portrayal. In addition to `45 Jacobites, they represent Oglethorpe's Highland settlers in Georgia, and have fun fighting Spanish "invaders" from Florida...!

I think in recent years the pre-1600 rule has become very relaxed in response to all the post-1600 pirates who have entered the picture.

I've actually met and talked with them a NUMBER of times (they were the ones at Taste of Scotland in Franklin. They are on my "short-list" to get in touch with.

Golly, they sure have their work cut out for them: to "portray the Scottish Highlanders of the 1730's & 1740's, an era of great turmoil, both in Scotland & the colony of Georgia."

Not only do they have to defeat the English, but also to keep the Spanish from invading Georgia.
