    My Scotland trip with friends

The trip was great. I did the trip with friends who never did visit Scotland before so I did visit places I been before. We visited several whisky distilleries. Skip the Dalwinnie distillery. It’s a good whiskey but had very bad tour. The tour at Glenfiddich was great, although I don’t like the whisky much. I loved the Isle of Skye and the parts around Ullapool. I didn’t like Islay much but the distilleries are great.
We did a round trip starting from Edinburgh, to Speyside, Thurso, Durness, Ullapool, Isle of Skye, Oban, Islay, Glasgow and then back to Edinburgh.
Next year I hope to vistit the Outer Hebridean.

The pic was nice. I'd love to see that in person some day.

I went in late January. The weather was cool, but not frigid (I wore a peacoat with a t-shirt underneath and Kelly wore a sweater with a long sleeve t underneath whenever we were outside). There weren't ANY LINES at "touirsty places" (we LOVED having no lines). The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the purple heather was brown for the winter months... other than that small fact, the scenery was BEAUTIFUL.
