My wife and I wanted to attend the Loon Mountain games very badly. It would be a fairly long drive from our home in Albany, NY, so we looked for a place to stay about three months ago. Would you believe there wasn't an available room to be had for 50 miles?!?! Everything seems to book up about 6 months in advance. Unfortunately, this means that we won't be able to go this year. I'm really bummed. I've wanted to go to this event for years. Oh well, I guess I'll try for next year. Have fun anyone that was smart enough to make reservations in 2006.
