    Frumious B,

I'll try and get another picture up, the original picture is with one of my regular jeans belts it is 1 1/2" wide. I am working out the details for a more appropriate width belt (probably 2 1/4") with Steve at Oconee Leather Works. I am really starting to get excited about that!
    Cheers,

    Marshal,
Since I know that Steve at Oconee won't steer you wrong, that buckle with one of his belts will be a winner.
Your buckle is a delightfully complex rendition of a simple design in repeating patterns. It is balanced and pleasing to the eye and is enhanced by the nicks and abrasions in the silver that show that it has been worn and not put on for show.

Mated with a belt from Steve, it will be ideal for even a semi-formal event.

That shure is a lotta words...let me try it again.

You and that buckle and belt, You-all got CLASS.

Hey, I'll bet you know what a Segway is then. I haven't run into any other kilties that recognize such a thing. My wife and I ride them to work and back most days.

    Ranger Belt Might Work

You might have difficulty hooking that up with a traditional kilt belt. I had a ranger belt made for a similar situation. The main belt was 2¼" wide while the billets (narrower part for the buckle) were 1½". I originally wore this belt and a Celtic patterned end-bar buckle with my Utilikilts, but it also looks good with one of my traditional kilts.
