Sounds like you guys are going to have a rousing time. If I didn't just finish a 16 hour roundtrip to Maryland last weekend I would have considered going but, alas... Perhaps the next one. I've been wanting to take my kids to Niagara Falls for a while now and if it just HAPPENS to fall on a SOKS kilt night, who am I to resist temptation?

Hey Emolas
If you are going to be in Niagara Falls, just let us know when I am sure we could set up something at a later date, one warning though don't go to Niagara on the August 10th weekend cause we will all be in Fergus for the Games. Of course if you wanted to see a Highland games you could always come up for it.

Emolas just came back from Niagara Falls Monday. Water keeps falling, it's cool. I know McClef is hoping to see the Falls this year we could have a real international kilt night going...

If McClef does come over I think we Must have a kilt night, that would be very cool indeed.

I don't frequent pubs as a general rule, but I'll check out some local pubs that advertise a Celtic theme, and let ch'all know. As has been said, if any lads/lassies from this forum are coming to this area, let us know, and surely some of us could meet.
Saturday doesn't look good for me. I'm working (beach volleyball...women in bikinis ) this Saturday, and will have my daughter home for the weekend. I'll try to hit the next one.
btw... I looks like the Ft. Erie Celtic Festival has been cancelled due to insufficicient funds.

It won't be for at least 2 months since my kids are visiting their mother right now but it sounds like a plan. Anyone know if my kids will need passports and when (if ever) passports will be needed to cross? I'm all for America but the American side of the falls is lousy and all the good views are from Canada.

I would say the best person to ask would be Wompet. You might want to PM him as he does in fact protect your border from us crazy Canadians.

There is a good chance the patio will be open on Saturday. I spoke to the folks at the Badger today, and they had the final inspection on the outside seating area. If not, we shall partake of the cool air and cold pints indoors.
I plan on being there around 8pm... Grant, do you want to meet at my place and share the ride in? Actually, anyone who wants to meet at my place is more than welcome! Directions are simple, just email me!
