    That is why I ordered the Lewis Hose, was to get over the same sized calve. These are the 2cd and 3rd pair I have ordered and they work extremely well. Give Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum a buzz. He will set you right up.

    I do too. I'm a 300 pound martial artist/hiker, so my legs are unnaturally huge. I was advised by the very helpful people at Thistle & Shamrock here in Denver to buy hose one size larger than my show size, and to put just the feet into really hot (NOT boiling!) water and let them hang dry. Worked like a charm. My socks fit just right in the feet, and around my freakishly muscular calves.
