ccga - I have seen the falls twice but it's the Maids I have missed out on twice. When do they stop for the season by the way?

Worse comes to worse I could always commandeer our rescue boat and go up river! Let's see that would be an hour to cross the lake, two hours trudging through the rapids 10 years for grand theft vessel, add to that if veer over to the west side without informing US Customs...

We could always do the stealth maneuver and kayak the Maid of the Mist route... I doubt anyone would give us a second thought!

Okay, I found out Friday afternoon when I went into work that my supervisor had changed my days off. So if I can get everything done today that I was going to get done today and tomorrow, I'll see you guys tonight. And I may still have to call it an early night, because I'm working bright and early Sunday morning.

But aren't you starting out upstream of the Falls? To do a Maid of the Mist, wouldn't you have to ...?

Well, if it was a civilian craft, you wouldn't be leaving Canada/entering the U.S. unless you dropped anchor; but that may be considered a technicality in this case ...

Had a great time. Thanks to all.
Ride home was very good, just under two hours. It only rained hard a couple of times. The bike ran well, only hit one small animal this time but didn't feel like investigating it for a sporran.
Looking forward to the next one....Sorry Grant this old guy got kilt checked before you did.
Cheers
Robert

I hope you all had a great night in Dunnville sorry i could not make it, but I am at work and have been since 6:00 am so that coupled with a headache made Dunnville impossible for me, hope to see you all next time.

Robert is only 11 years older than I and looks every day of it and more! And yes he got kilt-checked first (barely in the flippin' door)! Out of the corner of my eye I spied Robert chatting up this (much younger) lady and I sensed that Robert pitied me and was bribing her to come over to kilt check me. It's amazing the power of a Leather RKilt has on women isn't it? Well she come's over and sure enough say's that she has to KC me. She then wrapped her hands around her drink as we talk. Once the ice in her drink had chilled her hands enough she goes in for the kill but pauses just above the knee!
THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS A KILT CHECK ROBERT!!!
Aside from that I had a good time. With Robert, Improv1 one and myself as the Ontario representatives we also welcomed Mexpiper from NY. Also kilted in our honour was the bartender. Dunnville is redneck central in Ontario and my choice of my Camouflage FK captured a few compliments, just no bloody kilt checks, even after 2 bars and a stag-n-doe and a bevy of drunken ladies. Well there was that one photo...
