Ok, this is kind of off topic, but I noticed the sett in Riverkilt's Loud MacLeod kilt isn't quite the same as the sett shown in sirdaniel1975's link. The link has the tartan with 9 equal-sized black squares. Am I missing something?
It would appear that the poly vicose Loud Mcleod tartan that USA kilts is using is a variant on the true Mcleod of Lewis sett. The difference is fairly minor and no one doubts it is LOUD MCLOUD!
