County Clare tartan kilt - making my first kilt

Hamish, thanks for those kind words but its a five yard kilt for two reasons - it has 5 yards of tartan in it and it looks pretty good from about 5 yards away

The pleats are not as sharp as the work of our truly talented kilt makers - but I do count it a good first effort.

Thanks Kiltman - If I took up kilt making for a living I'd starve to death - but I suppose it would keep me off the streets... I can't wait to see you in Spokane, I want to pick your brain after your adventures at Kilt Kamp!
