Anyways the storm was awesome. I was out playing poker when the storm hit, and I had to excuse myself from the game to go outside and enjoy it. I probably lost a bit of money while i was outside, and the game kept going, but i didn't care. Rain and storms happen so rare here, that you've got to enjoy them while they last.
The flag and the sopapillas were the best!
There's supposedly a Pancho's in Tulsa, but I'm never down that way -- oh, if only to have one of their sopapillas again -- I know it wasn't authentic, but it was a lot of fun.
Coming from Tornado Alley, storms in PHX were much more impressive -- and the odd twister that did develop always seemed to in the East Valley -- it was odd hearing tornado warnings for Maricopa County and being 30 miles away from it!
