Use the search feature. There have been several detailed, and mainly favorable reviews.
Best regards,

Yes, I have a Black Stewart and an Irish National. Delivered in three days. Nice & light for hot weather. Velcro fastening, quick to put on, no buckles etc. to mess with. Selvedge is good, & Apron is fringed. Add belt & Sporran & you're set! Only a REAL close investigation would show it isn't an expensive garment.
I highly recommend them. (If they had more variety of Tartan choices, I'd order more!)

I ordered a couple as well, two for my Kids and one for my Dad and myself, all in the Black Stewart. I can't say enough good things about the Thrifty Kilt. I wore it to a Posh French Resturant last weekend and got nothing but complements from the staff and my family. I'll definitely be buying a couple more in the near future.

I have one and I think is dandy. I wear it for my daily all around kilt and I have worn it to church and to visit my wife in intensive care, So they are just fine for most things.
When the new tartans comeout I shall purchase more.

Stillwater Thrifty Kilts....
I just got my 2 (Black Stewart and Wallace) thrifty kilts today. They really exceeded my expectations...Very nice for the price. They are nice enough that my son is going to wear the Black Stewart in a graduation on Friday!

Did you notice the SWK Thrifty-Kilt is now available in the Gordon and McLaren tartans?

I have one in Black Stewart. Love that cheapo! with a belt and sporran it looks pretty snazzy to the unitiated. I sewed down the fell in mine, and like it even better. Very cool, easy on (and off if that is your thing).
Really can't beat a kilt for that price. Getting another thrifty before too long.
