New Highlander Shirt
Got a new Highlander shirt from Ravenswood Leather down at the Flagstaff Highland Games last week.
I like it. http://www.ravenswoodleather.com/Shirts/index.html
My lady and I were out to dinner and dancing at a local western restaurant/bar and grabbed a couple night pics on the way home. ( No, I'm not drinkin' again folks, just look like it.)
I really like the way the color of the shirt goes with the Loud MacLeod kilt (USA Kilts semi-trad). Not sure what all the cowboys and cowgirls at the bar thought of it. Lead guitar in the band is a friend and he liked it.
It is kinda difficult to eat dinner with those wrist ties on the sleeves, I was gonna take them out and roll up my sleeves but my lady said that was "too casual" looking (for a cowboy bar??) so I left them and just ate carefully.

I have a Ravenswood shirt as well -- I don't know if you noticed, but I was wearing it when you met me. I've found that it helps to re-thread the ties on the cuffs, so that they make x's inside the sleeve, and cross-over ladder style outside. It takes up more length, and leaves less hanging loose. Or you can pick up some inexpensive shirt studs, and use them to close the cuffs -- if your shirt is like mine, you'll need a full set for each sleeve.
I do love the shirt. It's held up very well over the year and a half I've owned it.

I think it looks great with the Loud MacLeod Ron, too casual for a cowboy bar? not so sure about that but it does look great, nice shirt.

Hey thanks MacDougall, great idea. No, didn't notice your shirt...think I may have still had my head down in case of residual hail.
Did forget to mention that the shirt is made in India and of course they have a long history of working with cotton so that fits with the quality.
Off to rethread the sleeves.

Great shirt. Love to see it with matching hose.

Really! as best I can figure, what she meant was: if you had only worn the high-heeled sandals, you could have gotten away with it.
