    Sylvain is from Montréal
    Parpin is from Longueuil

    I'm sure there's probably more.

For all intents and purposes, the kilt is finished. I'm satisfide wth it. Sure its not perfect, but, its for me and it was a practice run. So I can live with the imperfections.

The material itself was nice to work with. I think it will hold a pleat good enough. The only problem I had was the cut edges unraveling. With wool, after the first couple of threads were removed, there wasn't much of a problem. It seemed to go a little further with this material.

This is lighter weight material, but I think it will work out OK. I turned a box fan, and 2 pedistal fans up to high to see what would happen. The worst was the right hand apron corner flipped up to the sorran. Not so bad. Now a strong gust of wind might yield different results.

If you are looking for some inexpensive material to work with, I say give it a go.

I'll get some pics up in that forum when I get a chance. Maybe this weekend.

Congratulations on finishing up the project. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures1

    Aas for Canada.

My former boss, many years ago, named Francois Malouin, and an avid hockey player and rabid fan, once said that the quickest way to start a revolution in Canada would be to shut down hockey.

I thought the Canadians already had a ball team. Did they finally do away with the Expos?

The Expos moved to Washington DC as the Nationals.

There's still the Toronto Blue Jays...

Oh man, I may not be the biggest Maple Leaf fan but come on.
Hockey is way more exciting than Baseball.

Hey; I'm a Scot on my Mom's side - if Quebec is going for free, I'll take it......! It will look nice here in Los Angeles, add a bit of class.
