Sad for sure!
Saving some stock brings back memories...in similar efforts to save cloth and garments from the store they are still smoke damaged, but not destroyed in the fire, so the insurance coverage is less or not there...leaving smoke damaged garment and material to work with.
Hope that's not the case here.
And, hope not too many folks were put out of work - often the most devestating part of a business fire.
