Robert,
I'm really sad to hear of your loss. Now Elva will live through you. Every time you think of her, she visits you. No one knew her like you. What a blessing you had to spend her life with her.
May you find peace,
Dale

It's hard to lose a companion of 28 years. The loss must be deep for you. You have my empathy.

Robert,
I know from my own experience that there is little anyone can say at a time like this. But I also know that your sweet wife is in a better place. I also know from my own experience that in time, you will again be able to enjoy life, this too is what your wife would have wanted.
May the comfort of God be with you and yours,

Just want to add my condolences, can't imagine your loss. May God comfort you in this time of grieving. You will always have her.
