I believe the Mythbusters proved that soaking in Vodka can reduce foot oder, remove skunk oders as well as get Yellow-Jackets drunk...If it can do all that surely it can get smoke out of a kilt (they didn't test this one, but we already know it can get a Scotsman out of a kilt  )
