Good for you brother!!! I quit early....after 12 years. Though you may BE with civilians, you'll find you never really get the soldier out of you. Something to be proud of.

Dang it, Ron! You beat me to it. That's the first thing I thought of.

I have decided after 24 years of Service to The U S Army as a Officer/Nco/EM to finally put in my papers.

I am going to tour the USof A and finally really see the country I have fought and bled for since June 14 1983.

Last week I bought the motorcycle I am going to ride on my cross country tour and I am going to try to get used to the idea of handing over the rifle to the next generation of soldiers.
