My condolences
So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Such a loss is all the sadder for the lack of opportunity to prepare for it, and make farewells.
Although I'm only 62, whenever I check the obits I never fail to find someone younger than me dying of some natural or accidental cause. Tomorrow is guaranteed to noone, so it only brings home the point that one should DO IT NOW! (Whatever that would be for each of us.)

That is something that I come more and more aware of everyday. I am 'only' 43, but I have seen many die that are younger than me. I have realized that the part of this that has been so hard was that there was no forewarning.
