Easy on the pink death camo lads, Steve will need about ten yards of that for my plastic flamingo hunting kilt. Last time out I only got one lonely plastic bird before the authorities caught up with me and bought me a coffee (while we were doing the paperwork ) .
Terribly embarrassing. I did not even get a chance to explain that I was engaged in a catch & release hunt sponsored by F.L.O.C.K. (Flamingo Lawn Ornament Church of the Kindred).
Must have been those khaki bermuda shorts I had on. No protection from the empire whatsoever.
But with the power of the pink death kilt I might catch the daily limit before the storm troopers even know the season has been opened.
Of course if I had a maroon kilt clad plastic flamingo hunting guide the sky would be the limit.

That's odd. Your butcher doesn't stock flamingo? They are readily available in the Castro, on or off the hoof, so to speak.
Be assured, they are organic, free-range flamingos, humanely culled from lawns in Pacific Heights and the Mission districts.
Personally, I prefer the Mission birds. The Pacific Heights flocks tend to be a bit starchy.
The very best were from St. Francis Wood, but I heard that hoof and beak disease has nearly wiped that flock out. Likewise, the sun has set on the flocks in the Sunset district, what with that Mad Pink disease forcing the authorities to put down the entire flock.
I've heard tell of a feral flock in the Presidio that tend toward maroon plummage. But all the birds there are protected and cannot be hunted or farmed. Pity, that. They would be a natural prey for Panache in his new pink/fuscia/maroon hunting kilt.

You heartless b*****d. May you receive a thousand stubbed toes on a thousand garden gnomes before you take the life of another innocent pink plastic flamingo. And shame on you Jamie, for unleashing an obviously pink kilt on the Souther Cali conservative types.

The XMTS debut of Pink Panache!
The big day quickly approaches - the debut of The F-H.C.A.G.'s creation, the (ahem...) maroon kilt, being worn by the one... the only... the esteemed... Panache!
Himself publicly announced such in this thread:
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=30237
Those who are close, do plan on joining with us on Friday evening, Aug 31, 2007. For those who cannot attend, the intention is to capture (an image, anyway) the famed Acryli-Beast hunter arrayed in his latest, finest addition to his rainbow of kilt options. With any luck - and some natural light - a few unimpaired souls should be on hand to authenticate the actual shade of the garment. (Now, where are my Pantone color charts?)

If someone were to post something inappropriate on this thread it could be closed and removed from the board.
I bet some of you out there are just itching to post that naughty photo or make a rude joke. What a great opportunity here to post something risque. Any takers?
How about a political statement?
Religious one?
Guns?
Sigh
Cheers
Jamie
