Their Customer "Service" has deteriorated rapidly in the last two months. Simply abysmal to put it mildly. Delayed orders, ignored emails, un answered phone calls, two weeks at a time! No apologies either. Will be hard pressed to ever order from them again-if I ever get my 'in stock' kilt from July 8th..... that is. Very frustrating.

They promised to let me know when a certain tartan in my size was is stock - they didn't. I will now put the money towards one from Scotland instead.

My experience with Frugal Corner has been mixed. It took alot to get in touch with them but once I did it was good.
They offered a refund on my custom kilts. When I told them I really wanted the kilts they offered loaner stock kilts for my vacation.
I run my own business and know just how easy it is to be at the mercy of a supplier. Also it is just as easy to get overloaded so I will most likely deal with them in the future.

I e-mailed them 2 or 3 days ago to find out about availability, and still have not heard anything, I also called the phone number for orders on the site and left a voice mail... no dice. It's a shame too I wanted to get the kilt night out package. The price is too good to pass up... if you can place an order.

Whichever end of the market you are looking at, poor customer service (or potential customer service) if very offputting.

I've had no dealings with this company but it sounds to me like they went into business and had overwhelming demand and supplier problems all at the same time. It's actually a damned shame. I do think that they have the best of intention.
Whether they can turn it around or not I have no idea. Just don't condemn folks that get overwhelmed too quickly.
Good luck to Frugal Kilts!

Within minutes of posting that I had communication difficulties I received a concise, helpful answer to my questions. Thank you, Frugal Corner!

int:From the customer's end it's the indignity of feeling one is being blown off or ignored. These days it is so easy to send a quick email to answer an inquiry - especially if the customer has already paid.
I like their products, and hoped to ordder more, but this poor communiication is very off-putting.
Will see how this current order problem goes. Fingers crossed!

I think you hit the nail on the head! The whole thing reminds me of all the issues people had with Bear Kilts..
