A good likeness. Congratulations on the new tattoo, but I do hope you won't be offended if my congrats. are somewhat muted. I do genuinely and sincerely hope you and your wife will stay together for life, and that you would never come to regret having this tattoo. From bitter personal experience a young attractive mate can suddenly move on when you are least expecting it. If she runs off with a new man you would find it difficult to justify the tattoo to your next partner and it would be even more painful to have it removed. Just my two pence worth.

Love the ink and love the style that you have used. The shading looks awsome and the lines are nice an crisp. That is a nice tat and I do like the placement as well.

I know what you mean about the 8 hour drill - I have a few tats myself, and my "Highlander" took a total of 24 hours to complete over three sittings of 8 hours each. It took 8 for the outline, 8 for the shading and another 8 for the color. Of course my artist took half hour breaks every hour or so, and spent a lot of time on small details, so I guess the actual 'needle' time was more like 12-14 hours.

So - what is your next one? (if you think Kilts are addictive - just wait!)

Ehm, I must agree with Alex here

It's not a name and it can be equated to any of the random flash art girls you see on a lot of people (no slight intended to your beautiful wife). Even if the unforeseeable happens and you split up, you will still have a great tat of a beautiful woman.

Off topic but is it just me or does anyone else notice there seems to be a rather inordinate amount of red hair or this forum?
