Kilt Night September 15 Chandler Arizona

Greetings everyone in Arizona, or that plans to be in the valley the weekend of the 15th of September. The Sonoran Scotsmen are having another kilt night to celebrate both 1/2 to St. Patrick's day, and also one of our member's birthdays.

Where: Fibber Magee's Pub (Southeast Corner of Dobson and Elliot in Chandler)
When: Saturday September 15th from 8:00PM till 2:00AM

There will be live music by "The Biffos" (Formally O'Carrol's gate). If you've been to one of our kilt nights, you know they can be a wild and very fun time. If you haven't and you have the chance, please come celebrate with us.

If you can make it, or if you think you might be able to, please reply because i'm going to reserve a bunch of tables at the pub.

If you have any questions, let me know! Cheers and I look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.

(MacDougall, I haven't forgotten about the non-pub kilt event that I promised here soon. I'm just waiting for the weather to cool down just a little bit more)

Sounds like it might be fun; what kind of music do the Biffo's play? Wifes allowed? Its a little bit of a drive, but what the hell. It would be my first kilt night. See what the boss says.

The Biffo's play Irish Rock. Lots of good classics, and a bunch of their own stuff too. Wives, Girlfriends, aunts, sisters, whatever... Everyone is most definitely welcome. I am hoping and expecting about 15-20 kilted men to be there, plus at least 5 or 6 plaid skirted women. It should be a great time!

What part of Arizona are you in?

If you would like more information about the kilt night stuff we do here in Arizona, check out our local group at www.sonoranscotsmen.com

    Hope to see you there!

    Ayin,

I am in Parker, about a 2 hour drive away. But I am in Phoenix on a pretty regular basis. Matter of fact the my boss is currently in Scottsdale visiting her mum. Will try to make it, though I doubt till 2. Lordy, it better cool off by then!

Excellent! I'll have to send a message to Retro Red, and Drobin also on this list to see if they're going to be coming out also. I know we have a bunch of kilties across Arizona from Flagstaff to Sierra Vista. It'll be nice to hang out and celebrate the evening together.

I'll send a reminder post when we get a bit closer too.

Dunnigan: I completely agree about the heat! I have had enough of these 110+ degree days. This year set the record for the hottest summer in Arizona ever, and I'm ready for some cooler times.

Got it on my calender! Fibbers' was great last time.

But I don't think I'll have my new kilt in time. Utilikilts was out of stock on the Original Black So I'll have to brave the triple digits in the tank.

Well we do have a few weeks until the 15th. I checked out the extended forcast and the high next Tuesday is expected around 102. Maybe with the extra week beyond that it'll drop below 100.
