Pictures from Chandler Kilt Night 06/09/07
Greetings everyone! We celebrated my birthday this last saturday here in Chandler Arizona, and WOW, it was a blast. We had a great turnout! Both Retro Red, and Drobin from XMarks came out to help me celebrate. It was the first time we'd each met each other, but good times were had by all. I ended up calling it a night around 11:30 because I could barely stand anymore. But here are some of the pictures that were taken.
Here is a picture with Drobin, Myself, and Retro Red
Here's the large group photo of everyone that showed up in kilts, or plaid skirts. I apologize for showing some knee, I have no clue in the world what i was thinking at that moment.
My friend made me a custom "Sonoran Scotsmen" Cake

Great pictures. I lost a tassle a few weeks ago too, but I managed to retrieve it from the place where it had dropped off and I refitted it.

And a fine rabble it was, too!!!
15 kilted men, by my count - a grand sight, indeed!
It was great meeting Ayin & Drobin & the Sonoran Scotsmen rabble. The cakes were fantastic, the music was hot, the beer cold & they had some nice Scotch there, too (I enjoyed some Talisker & Lagavulin). It made the 30-mile trip all worthwhile.
Thanks for posting the pics, Ayin!

Ha, ha. Great pics. I love the cakes. The second one has a "see Dick wear tartan" look to it.

Tartan cake icing...now that is artistic talent! Kudos to the froster.
And jeez Retro...EVERY time I see you in that Arizona tartan kilt my credit card twitches...someday...someway...
And kilt night in Chandler! Who'd have ever thunk it...why I remember back when Chandler was barely a crossroads in the desert...yawn...
