Maybe I'm just an old romantic...
My best friend was married yesterday. He and his bride were surrounded by loving friends and family. Twas a joyous occasion. Somehow I just can't imagine an event so important and monumental as the marriage of two souls not shared or celebrated with friends and family.

I think I agree with you but I can see the other side too. Wedding arrangements seem to bring out the worst in some people, pulling the couple this way and that, wanting them do do one thing or the other. I just have to remember it's their day and it has to be what they want.
