Guys I think we might be better not to have it right on the day as there are quite a few other Burns nights already scheduled, we might want to look into whats already going on before we set a date.

Many places, have it the Saturday before or after, so it may not be a problem. We'll wait to see what Rev finds out.
I'm busy on the 26th for a Burns' Dinner.

Cock-a-leekie soup is a Scottish soup dish of leeks, potatoes, and chicken stock. The original recipe added prunes during cooking, and traditionalists still garnish with a julienne of prunes.
So if you do wear your new full face sporran it may end up in the soup.
