I definitely get better, faster service in a kilt - they can't pretend they haven't seen you, when you don't want to be disturbed the kilt keeps them at bay, and speed - I think of it as the "While I'm waiting for you, my kilt and I will be in our waiting room, scaring the out of your other customers by just sitting there" effect.
Pants - I just blend into the background.
