Do You Get Better Service When Kilted?

I would say I usually get better service. I would also say it's the kilt itself, not because I'm wearing a "strange" article of clothing. I don't think I'd get the same response standing around in a cape. Or maybe I would!

I've noticed in my region of Canada that caped folks are generally not wanted by most servers. They seem to carry some sort of looming that people here don't appreciate. On that not however, most of the people wearing capes are goth kids.
