Hi! Welcome to the rabble.
Next weekend (September 22-23) is the Scottish Festival in McPherson, KS, just north of Wichita. I'll be there wearing my USAK American Heritage, and driving my 1952 MG-TD on Saturday. As part of the festival, British cars have a special display area. Mine is usually the oldest car shown. Lots of good food, clan tents, Scottish games, bagpipes and dancing. Hope to see you there.

from the Scottish Borders.
My surname is Cunningham. My paternal line of Cunninghams can be traced back to 18th century Paisley weavers. Paisley is in the heart of Cunningham country, being only about ten miles from Auchenharvie, Craigends, Kilmaurs, and Robertland, all of which were Cunningham strongholds before the union with England, but I have been unable to trace my ancestry back far enough to ascertain from which branch of the family I am descended.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Welcome,
When you go to the Highland Games TAKE MONEY!! Cash or plastic or travelers checks or gold dust....the vendors tents await.
The great joy of the Highland Games is SHOPPING. The goods are right there to be looked at, examined, and taken with you. No worries about on line scams, substitute products, or long long waits for the goods. The stuff is right there.
A great place to score unique kilt pins and kilt hose in surprise colors too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...ya gotta visit the clan tents and watch the piping and them thingies they toss about....but the main reason to go to the Highland Games is to shop, stock up, and get all you can before the horders get there.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
