Newbie out of Missouri

Hello all, just rediscovered my heritage and my first kilt is in the mail. I descend from 3 clans, MacGregor, MacLeod of Raasay, and Cunningham. Cant wait to start kilting it up. New to Springfield, MO. Whats the kilt wearing scene like around here?

If you're looking for a friendly kilt-centric community.. you came to the right place

Although, out of the three clans you mentioned, I'd have a hard time deciding on a tartan. It's amazing how similar the MacGregor of Balquhidder tartan is to the MacLeod of Raasay tartan. Can't think of a better excuse to buy kilts in all three tartans.. as if you needed an excuse

Welcome to a world-wide kilted community from Germany.

I'm formerly from Missouri, St. Louis County.

I think you will find kilted members in Springfield who probably will introduce themselves shortly.

Also, I believe there is a large Highland Games in St. Louis around the weekend of Oct 5-6.
