I liked their older stuff more, back when Mike McColgan, currently of the Street Dogs, was their singer. It had more of an Oi!/streetpunk sound to it, but with bagpipes here and there. DKM was one of the first punk bands I was ever into back in my early teens. "Do Or Die" is still one of my all-time favorite albums. In my opinion, they've slowed down and mellowed out, and now sound a little too much like Flogging Molly for my taste. But, for what it is, taken at face value and not compared to their old stuff, their new album is quite good.

I definitely dig Real McKenzies, they are amazing. If you like them and DKM, you should check out Flatfoot 56. Similar sound, but more aggressive.
