A friend of mine recently pointed me towards this forum. He thought I might find some kindred spirits here. I'm a leathercraft hobbiest and I make sporrans. (I'll get some photos in the DIY forum asap.) And I highly enjoy gettin' all dressed up in mah Heelan gear, so it looks like I'm right at home here.

I'm from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. That's at the stinky end of Lake Ontario, for those who are not familiar.

In addition to leathercraft, I also enjoy motorcycling -- hence the nym. And on my geekier side, I'm a pretty hardcore genealogist and I co-moderate the Stewarts of Balquhidder (Perthshire) Research Forum.
