    A Good Laugh

Last night on my way to school, I was stuck behing a large septic pumping truck; the company was called "Septic King". Here's the funny (if a bit disgusting!) part: the company slogan, painted in LARGE letters on the back of the truck:
"Let the King clean your thrown"!
    Oh, my! YET

I remember my kids laughing at a septic truck slogan up in Minnesota.

"We're number one in the number two business."

I guess you gotta keep your sense of humor when you you're in that business.

Out here we have a plumbing service called "Buttcrack Plumbers." Their trucks carry the disclaimer, "Note: No actual butt crack displayed."

I recall a commercial garbage service having "Satisfaction guaranteed or double your garbage back" on it's containers.

Since we are talking about humor in the plumbing business, how about the sense of humor for this guy?

There's a local plumber here, John's Plumbing (that in itself is funny) whose motto is "We repair what your husband fixed."

I very nearly bid on the contract to provide porta pottys for the National Training Center in the Mojave desert. The contract required the storage, moving and placement, removal and cleaning of 30,000 porta pottys over and area the size of Rhode Island in support of the US Army's desert training center.

The Company name I would have used...

Steve's post reminds me of the Utah Phillips quip about his working for the Rural Electrification Board and running electricity to the outhouses on the Navajo land in the Southwest.

He was the first guy to wire a head for a reservation.
