Bafta Passes on Gaelic Film
How mad is Edinburgh-born director Christopher Young? Looks like he's resigned from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts because they won't put his Gaelic film Seachd: The Inaccessible Pinnacle up for an Oscar.

Interesting. Out of curiosity, what does this have to do with kilts in the media?

There was a kid in a kilt in the trailer on the official website. I think it was a kilt.
This looks like an interesting movie, but I'll only watch it if there's English subtitles. No speaky Gaelic.
I'm not sure though, it sounds like he's being kinda whiney. I don't want to pass judgement on the movie unless I see it, but what if it just wasn't a good enough movie, gaelic or no, to be eligible for an oscar?

I don't think he's wearing a kilt, but the film deals with Gaelic myths and legends. Wouldn't be surprised to see a kilt or two in the movie.
I'm actually interested in seeing it now...
