It looks like the MacDuff gone bad! What I mean is it looks like they took half of the usual MacDuff sett and used it for the warp, and used the other hald of the sett for the weft. Interesting, to say the least....
You say this is a former band kilt? I find it odd that a pipe band would use a kilt made from a non-traditional tartan such as this with a different warp and weft.
