In regards to the Hilfiger ad, that will just kill the kilt for me---I'll be damned if I would go to Abercrombie and fitch to buy a KILT!!!!!!!!all the pictures I've seen on here are of people looking embarrassed and treating it as if they were wearing a skirt...
PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!!!!
I can only hope that some of my ancestors killed some of theirs!!!!
Just a little harsh? Kilts should be serious, kilts should be fun, kilts should be elegant, kilts should be goofy. There is plenty of room for all kinds of kilt wearers. The kilt is so freeing and comfortable you just have to be goofy sometimes.
As for Abercrombie and Hilfiger we are probably not the customer they are trying to sell clothing, but the Hilfiger add does have a free feeling. The "you don't have to match all the time" feeling, or just be comfortable and wear a kilt with whatever you have and enjoy time with your friends.
To tell people that they have to wear kilts a certain way gives too much power to other people who say "You have to wear pants."
BTW I didn't ever think I would post on page 120 of any topic.
