On the way to gameworks (absolutely massive arcade, a lot of fun if you are into that sort of thing) I passed through the mgm grand and enjoyed the lions. Much like the sharks mentioned earlier, you can walk through a transparent tunnel and see them around and even above you. Very cool if you are nearby, though not necessarily big enough to be worth a trip on it's own.

The only show I went to was tournament of kings at the excalibur. It's a lot like medieval times, so if that interests you, I recommend it.

The Tilted Kilt little gift shop in Rio

Nine Fine Irish Gentlemen (love the fish and chips) in NYNY and their gift shop

The M&Ms Store on the strip

House of Blues in Mandalay Bay

A custom burger place (fresh ground buffalo burger) in the mall at Mandalay Bay. Pricey but succulent.

Wander the strip at night and watch people watch you.

The Venetian Hotel lobby & Canal are amazing. Walk along the canal and see all the shops plus have the lighting change from day to night. You can also see the living statues preform. they have restraunts along the canel that make you feel like you are dining in Venice.

Go to old downtown Los Vegas (Fremont St) during the day and the strip at night for a real contrast in atmoshphere.

    Prepare not to sleep LOL
