    Excellent pics and its great to see there are plenty of kilts in Australia.

    But I am puzzled as to the significance of the green bear shaped rosette on Dooge's Black Watch kilt, which has resulted in the pin being worn much higher than normal.

    He pinched the kilt from cadets at school when he left and I think the rosette's are used in military units to indicate rank.
