Where exactly do you get inflatable sheep?

On second thought, I don't wanna know...

I've never felt it was necessary to have an excuse. A solid understanding of local laws perhaps, but never an excuse.

That was sort of my point. I don't want to go as some variation on a Scotsman, and I want to wear a kilt, and I don't want to have to explain my costume to everyone. Hence the examples of the ninja and the roman. One works, one doesn't

Anyway, I think I've figured out my costume. I will be going as link:

Well, technically I'll be going as dark link, but I couldn't find a good picture of him and most people won't know the difference anyway.

I figure a black shirt and a black kilt with a properly placed belt makes a decent black tunic, I have a black pillow case which can be made into the cap, and, I have the authentic shield which I really need to show off more. I am also gathering cheap props such as a bow, whistle, and the classic blue bombs. The (plastic and therefore legal) sword, boomerang and ears however are turning out to be a bit more difficult.

I may even go so far as to get a power bracelet, bottled fairy, blue potion (aka gatorade) a sack of rupees and anything else I can come up with for under $20. Being a bit of a perfectionist with a thing for little details, and a huge zelda fan, and a busy student on tight budget is gonna make for an interesting halloween.
