My wife drives a BMW Z3... yes, it's a challenge. Actually, the car door is your friend! Perhaps just swing it halfway open? then turn, tuck, stand.

I see it like this. If they haven't seen one before, then they don't know what it is. If they have, then it's nothing new.

I was visiting Newport Oregon with my family. It is a nice town on the coast. I was wearing my Amerikilt as it was a nice sunny day. We decided to stop at a local fast food joint to have some lunch. I got out of the van, when a gust of wind took me by surprise. My kilt flew up, front and back. If anyone was looking, they know for sure what is worn under a kilt! Boy oh boy.... that was funny.

I like that one. Had a similar experience one time, and the ladies kept coming over every time the hubbies went off, so it was a little dicey.

Like the old Scot trying to understand baseball, when told that the batter was slowly walking down the baseline instead of running because he had four balls, "Walk with pride, mon, walk with pride."

Never bend from the hips when kilted and regimental. Always squat from the knees. It's far safer.

    Best regards

True indeed, and better for your back (although the younger you are the less important this "seems".) I just act as thought I'm practicing to lift heavy objects..."with the knees, not the back".

Once, when I had first started wearing kilt, I was in an acrylic kilt (long gone now) and I said to my wife "check this out..." I then did a twirl (not sure why really). Well, I discovered the kilt was not going to tolerate much of that. I felt the nethers get chilly and felt a flush of panic as I realized what had just happened. Nikki was so red, it was great (the her being embarrassed part anyway )

LOL, Bob. That goes along with my logic: If you see anything you can't identify, shoot it.

But all I have is a 4wd Chev and a vette.

Daughters ride backed his car onto a culvert wall and asked for assistance. I said call a tow truck, but the wife seemed to think I could pull him free with my truck, so I crawled under the off side of the car to see what it was resting on. No one on that side of the car when I went under, several red faced spectators when I came back out.
