Irish military kilt! It was preety.

Orange tartan with wide, brown stripes surrounding thin red lines. Matt, identification?

Traditional Irish leine. (This is why we wear saffron kilts. It's historical).

It appears to be a uniform from the Irish Regiment of Canada -- they are the only Irish Regiment to wear a tartan:

I know these are modern uniforms, but look at the tartan.

It certainly looks very similar -- the badge on the caubeen also looks like their badge:
