We went into Temple Bar, only to turn right around and leave. Luckily we found another bar called The Porterhouse and OH MY was it fantastic. They brew their own stouts, and when we were there they were celebrating Oktoberfest, so they made a wheat beer ("The Temple Bräu") which was probably the best beer I've EVER tasted. Seriously, it was amazing.

But yeah, there's 4 Porterhouses in Dublin and one in London. If you ever have the chance, their stouts are the best brews ever. I never thought I'd say this, but they put Guinness to shame...
