I am NOT wearing a costume!

A witch snapped these photos of me today at work. With Elvis, witches, a gypsy and an alligator running around I certainly was the most normal looking person there. I told her this was not a costume and she said, "I know, but you normally wear a t-shirt and combat boots and today you spiffed it up a little more so pose!" Yes ma'am and please don't put a spell on me.

Nice outfit. You look great. I like the tartan. It looks like an "ancient" -- subdued colors, appropriate for the office environment. What tartan is that?

Looks good I like the sweater. Good for you for pointing out it's not a costume.
I had a similar thing happen to me on Monday morning coming out of the coffee shop two young guys were standing there one says "Excellent Costume" so I say "Yea it's not a costume, it's what I wear." So his friend says to him "You dummy you called it a costume." and the first guy says "Well its Awesome anyways."
I was wearing my xmarks kilt and a blue dress shirt with lovat blue hose and red garter ties.

That's the Fitzsimmons tartan designed by our own MacSimoin and carefully crafted by Matt Newsome.

I'd recognize that tartan anywhere! Very handsome indeed. I especially like the extra chunky shoes - they balance out the sweater nicely.

We've established it's not a costume that you're wearing. Is it an outfit, though? That's the question.

Dealt with a couple questions today, since I didn't feel like bothering with trousers. Been dealing with a recovering sprained ankle. Didn't want to twist my foot much. Each time, I responded with "I'm going as myself". Normally, I do wear a pair of jeans for halloween, but it wasn't really worth it to me...
