Man Ern, why do these things go on when I'm not around? I really don't think I could do it. If plans had gone correctly and we lived down there I would. But it's too late and too far. How about lunch Friday?

I certainly understand. You are on for lunch. Tell me where.

A Great NIght!
The Kilt Night in Fredericksburg (VA) had three kilties of X Marks gather at the Colonial Tavern to hear Seven Nations.
Two new kilties GatorNeck (Fredericksburg) and The Kilted Wonder (Williamsburg) with friends gathered at the former railroad station to hear Seven Nations with me. It was a great time.
The Kilted Wonder, GatorNeck, Mael Coluim

Seven Nations entertained the folks in Fredericksburg on their way to the Irish Festival in Maryland.

Next time, friend. Let's see. St Andrews Day 11/30 is on a Friday. After work at the Blarney Stone?
Available at Canterbury Pewter.

Hmm, that sounds awesome. Why does that last photo make me feel as if I'm kneeling in front of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe??

Man, I love 7N- especially now that they have a full time piper back in the band. They just haven't been the same since Neil Andersen left them after Big Dog. The Factory was good, but just not the same. Last time I saw them was Labor Day. They sounded better than they have in years! I was a little bummed that Kirk never broke out a kilt, though. Have fun, guys! I want pics!!
EDIT- just read a little closer. How was the show? Anything off of Rain And Thunder?

I concur with the previous posts the trad segments stole the show. The fiddler and piper were awesome. Kurt and the lads were in jeans. In fact, the only kilts to be seen were on the XMarkers!
