OK - thinking more broadly than the name "Peter", I went back to the SecurePay records, and I _did_ receive an order on October 23 from a woman in Thurnscoe, UK (which, according to the info in the upper right corner of Pete C.'s post is where he's from). Assuming that there isn't likely to be more than one person ordering from Thurnscoe, maybe this is Pete's order and he didn't use his own name/credit card to order the book. At any rate, my records show that I shipped the book on October 24, so it certainly should arrive soon. I sent books to Steve Ashton on the same day, and they got to him a week ago.

But, at any rate, I never did receive an email from the person who ordered from Thurnscoe, so I'm at a loss on the email question.

    Well it's all sorted now!!
Just received email form Barb and it's allright. Basicially, what happened was that the book was ordered in my wife's name, and my emails never reached Barb. And as she just assured me, the book was posted next day.
So... First of all I want to apologise Barb for coming up with conclusions too early drawn.. It's all a misunderstanding... Sorry...
The only problem is that I have two lovely tartans waiting here to become kilts

Thank you all for words of encouragement and please forget the whole thing...

So get your buckles, hair canvas, thread, beeswax, heavy button thread, lining, needles, and a thimble. It takes longer to track everything down than you would think.

It's a shame the publisher does not have the courtesy to respond to Pete's emails.
