I know that brand of mead Chaucers I had some warm with spices just 4 nights ago. Because of you I think I'll get another bottle on the way home from work today (yes I actually goof off on XMarks while on company time)
BTW The pix of the lady were lovely. You are a lucky fellow to have such a lass.

Looking good. You wear the kilt well. Beer, mead, and than wine? You are a braver man than I.

From the cheerful photos, looks like you had a fun weekend.

Thank you very much for saying so. It was my first time to don all of the accessories. Before, I have only worn the kilt. As I have said before, if it weren't for you all, and I hadn't done my homework, I would have been all kinds of jacked up.

Let me add my compliments to you for the pics. You look great!! One would never know that it was your first time.
Was that liquor really mead? If so, I'm curious as to the taste.

Thanks! It is a honey wine, and it tastes just like it sounds.

Okay, moving off-topic here, but there are some great meads out there. My favourite commercial mead is the Jadwiga (a dusky, heady Polish mead), and Lurgashall makes some good ones - the Special Reserve by them is really good. If you can't find Jadwiga see if you can get Kastalanski, which is another dusky Polish mead. Or if you want a real boozy, hot flavour, see if you can find any of the Dansk brand Mjøds (Viking Blood, Klapojster). My bar sells about 16 different meads, so I've tried quite a few.
Andrew.
