Just FYI- from the SWK website on the heavyweights- "Most sizes use a full 7-8 yards of 100% wool fabric." My Nightstalker kilt is awesome for an inexpensive kilt. However, you're right- it is certainly not a true heavyweight 16oz kilt.

SWK Heavyweights
Yes, I think that I have taken the advice well. If it weren't for all of the kilted folks out there willing to offer the advice, I'd still be sitting here either waiting for a cheapo kilt or not getting one at all. I am so glad to have found a LOT of help here at XMTS. Now, I need to get a sporran, a good belt and sporran straps, and round out my hose. Wait a minute, Christmas is coming up soon.... I wonder...... Thanx again.
